I fully admit to never taking the time to watch these kinds of things on blogs, and of fully expecting that, as usual, I would start the film you put on this blog, watch about thirty seconds of it, and then stop it out of boredom or disinterest.
But, I didn't this time.
Thank you. Really. The best part for me was listening to him recite the words to the song at the end of this broadcast. Although it has been over 20 years since I actually heard the song itself, I could still anticipate the next word and phrase as he was reciting it, and I realized that his lesson is just as relevent today as it was when I was five years old.

I took the time. Gives hope.
Where are our Mr. Rogers' now?
That was incredible. I wonder if anyone or anything can save PBS now...
I am crying.

My tears have only stopped running down my face, being stopped by my mouth with a smile. Won't he be my neighbor?
